Torch On

Torch On waterproofing is an environmentally friendly, highly effective waterproofing method comprising of sticky, viscous organic liquids and bitumen. Torch On can be applied by Dayproof Group for both commercial and domestic waterproofing projects, with bituminous Torch On widely accepted as the most reliable membrane system.

Examples of projects utilising Dayproof Group’s Torch On method include:

Butynol

Ideal for roofing and tanks, Butynol membranes are comprised of synthetic rubber, with characteristics designed to combat ageing as a result of heat and sun exposure. Butynol protects against frost, chemicals, acids, gas, water, moisture vapour, and the sun while being low maintenance, cost-effective, and durable in Australia’s fluctuating climate.

Examples of projects utilising Dayproof Group’s Butynol method include:

Liquids

Liquid Applied Membranes combine the characteristics of adhesive sheet membranes while creating an instant-set coating, resulting in a seamless rubber layer. This waterproofing method combines traditional waterproofing properties with the characteristics of smooth bitumen.

Examples of projects utilising Dayproof Group’s Liquid Waterproofing method include:

Bentonite

A self-swelling and healing membrane comprised of naturally occurring clay soil, Bentonite waterproofing does not deteriorate as it dries after repeat moisture exposure, and is commonly used in underground concrete constructions. With its life expectancy measured in thousands of years, you can rest assured your structure will be watertight for centuries to come.

Examples of projects utilising Dayproof Group’s Bentonite method include:

Waterstops

Waterstops are installed at each joint in a below-grade concrete structure, as a means of obstructing a passage of water. They are used extensively as part of the overall waterproofing system and are found in concrete fixtures such as basement walls, pedestrian tunnels, underground car parks, and water treatment facilities.
